Spencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Blackpool.
You do not need a Teaching Assistant qualification to apply. Schools are increasingly looking for people with the right personality, resilience and commitment to support children with their learning and development.
This role could be ideal for someone with experience in childcare, care work, youth work, coaching, mentoring, tutoring or any role where you have supported children, young people or adults with additional needs.
The Role
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you may be asked to:
- Support pupils during lessons
- Work with children individually or in small groups
- Help children improve their confidence and independence
- Provide additional support for pupils with SEND
- Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines
- Support the class teacher with activities and interventions

- A willingness to learn and develop
- The ability to remain patient and positive
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
