Safeguarding Lawyer

My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Safeguarding Lawyer on a Contract basis.

To provide high-quality legal advice, representation and support on a wide range of safeguarding and children's social care matters on behalf of the organisation

What's on offer:

• Salary: £42 - £56 per hour

*negotiable based on experience

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

• Manage a caseload of safeguarding and children's social care matters from instruction through to conclusion
• Provide timely, accurate and practical legal advice to Children's Services and associated stakeholders
• Provide legal guidance on safeguarding risks and statutory responsibilities
• Keep up to date with developments in childcare law, safeguarding legislation and case law

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX)
• Significant experience managing safeguarding and childcare legal matters
• Local Authority experience is essential
