Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting Unqualified Secondary Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools across Preston and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for confident individuals who can lead a classroom, engage students and maintain a positive learning environment while delivering pre-planned lessons.

No Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. We welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants ready to take the next step, sports coaches, youth workers, tutors and graduates with experience working with young people.

The Role

• Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged.
• Support students in completing the work left by the class teacher.
• Create a safe, positive and productive learning environment.
• Work on a flexible basis to suit your availability.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with secondary-aged children or young people.
• Confidence managing groups and leading a classroom.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A positive, adaptable and reliable approach.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
