Head of Regeneration
Location: Yorkshire
Rate: £600 per day Negotiable
Contract: 6 - Months
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority to appoint an Interim Head of Regeneration.
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will lead a high-performing regeneration function, deliver complex regeneration programmes and capital projects, and shape regeneration strategy and investment planning.
Responsibilities include
- Lead and manage the council's regeneration service
- Deliver complex regeneration programmes and capital projects
- Develop and implement regeneration strategies and investment plans
- Provide expert advice to senior leaders and elected members
- Build partnerships across public and private sectors
- Manage budgets and ensure value for money
- Drive innovation and service improvement
About you
- Senior leadership experience in regeneration or economic development
- Track record delivering large-scale regeneration programmes
- Strong understanding of governance and the political environment
- Strategic planning and service transformation experience
- Strong budget management and commercial awareness
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
