Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Homelessness Relief and Prevention Officer for a Local Authority Client in Berkshire.
In this role you will help prevent and relieve homelessness by providing housing advice, assessments and practical support to households in need.
Duties:
- Provide housing advice and support to prevent and relieve homelessness.
- Assess housing needs and make statutory homelessness decisions.
- Manage a caseload and develop Personalised Housing Plans.
- Work with partner agencies to achieve positive housing outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Frontline experience resolving homelessness and housing issues.
- Experience assessing and managing complex housing cases.
- Experience applying homelessness legislation and making statutory decisions.
- Experience working collaboratively with partner agencies.
What's on offer:
Salary: £22+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
