Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (English & Maths) - Year 10

Hours: 3 days per week, 1.5 hours per session
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support a Year 10 learner with Autism. The role involves delivering English and Maths tuition tailored to the learner's individual needs in a supportive and structured manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 tuition in English and Maths
• Adapt teaching strategies to support a learner with Autism
• Build a positive and trusting relationship to support engagement and progress
• Work consistently and reliably across three sessions per week

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working with learners with Autism / SEND (vital)
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Strong knowledge of the Year 10 curriculum (English & Maths)
• Patient, calm, and flexible approach
• Reliable and professional

Desirable:

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience
• Understanding of exam preparation and confidence-building strategies
