My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Lead Architect on a Contract basis.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect to provide strategic technical leadership during a critical period of technology transformation and cyber recovery.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £800 per day
*negotiable based on experience

About the role:
Based in Greater London (Hybrid):
- Lead the development and governance of the Council's Enterprise Architecture
- Define architecture principles, standards, frameworks and technology roadmaps aligned to organisational objectives
- Provide strategic technical advice to senior leaders, Programme Boards and the Cyber Recovery Board
- Chair the Technical Design Authority (TDA), ensuring robust governance of all major technology decisions
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience working as a Lead Architect, Enterprise Architect or Senior Solution Architect within a large, complex technology environment
- Experience leading or contributing to a Technical Design Authority (TDA) or Architecture Review Board
- Local Authority experience is essential
