Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Needs Team Manager for a local authority in North London.

In this role, you will lead a Housing Needs team to deliver an effective, responsive and customer-focused homelessness prevention and assessment service for residents.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage a Housing Needs team to deliver an effective homelessness prevention and assessment service.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and compliance with statutory housing duties.
  • Work with partners and external agencies to support residents and maximise available resources.
  • Deliver statutory enforcement duties and wider responsibilities under the Renters' Rights Act.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience managing and motivating a team within housing, homelessness or a related service.
  • Experience delivering homelessness prevention, housing advice or statutory assessment services.
  • Experience working effectively with external agencies, partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience interpreting and applying housing legislation, policies and statutory duties.

What's on offer:

Salary: £270+per day

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
