Spencer Clarke Group are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support mainstream secondary schools across the region.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual goals.
You will support a diverse range of learners, including students with:
- SEND requirements
- Autism and ADHD
- SEMH needs
- Communication and interaction difficulties
- Literacy and numeracy gaps
- Behavioural and emotional support needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
- Working with individual students and small groups
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
- Supporting students who require additional guidance
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
We Are Looking For Individuals Who:
- Have experience working with children or young people
- Are positive, adaptable and reliable
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Can build strong relationships with students and staff
- Are committed to helping young people succeed
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Sports Coach or similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
