SEND Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of our client, a friendly and inclusive mainstream school in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide targeted support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and fully engage in school life. This role will involve working one-to-one and with small groups, adapting learning activities, and implementing strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be patient, flexible, and nurturing, with a good understanding of SEN and a genuine passion for supporting children to overcome barriers to learning. You will play an important role in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting pupils to build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
