Some roles shape careers. This one shapes lives.

We're looking for a committed and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant based near Castle Bromwich, who wants to play a vital role in helping children with additional needs feel seen, supported, and capable of success. If you're someone who notices the small wins, celebrates progress others might miss, and believes every child deserves the right support to thrive-this could be exactly what you've been looking for.

This isn't your typical classroom support role. You'll be working closely with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve things they-and others-never thought possible.

Every small breakthrough becomes a big win-and you'll be at the heart of it.

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to help them engage and succeed
  • Using creative, hands-on approaches to keep learning accessible and fun
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and navigate the school day with confidence
  • Building strong, trusting relationships that make pupils feel safe and understood
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver consistent, high-quality support
  • Sensory work supporting with dis-regulations and de-escalation.

Benefits of the role:

  • A supportive and friendly school environment that you can thrive in
  • Opportunities for professional development and training
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact every single day
  • Competitive pay - £425- £500 per week!
  • Access to your own personal dedicated consultant

What We're Looking For:

  • A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or the equivalent is advantageous
  • Energetic, resilient, and ready to think on your feet
  • Patient and understanding, even when things get challenging
  • A natural encourager who celebrates every small win
  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
  • Previous experience working with special needs children
  • Based locally to Castle Bromwich
