Libraries Service Operations Manager

My Local Authority client in Berkshire is looking to appoint a talented Service Manager for Libraries on a Contract basis.

The role will lead on stabilising a multi-site operation, improving the overall service and operations of the Libraries in Berkshire.

About the role:

Based in Berkshire (hybrid - 3-4 days on site):

• Lead, support and stabilise the libraries services across a multi-site operation.
• Upskill, train and coach to ensure H&S requirements and risk assessments are met.
• Engage with senior stakeholders
• Work across a number of sites in Berkshire.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in operations management, ideally within libraries (although not essential) and/or the Public Sector
• Ability to challenge respectfully and engage in difficult conversations.
• Building management experience (e.g. H&S / Risk Assessments)
• A collaborative working approach.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £450 per day, inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience
