Chorley | £106 per day | Term Time Only | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Are you from a care, support work, or hands-on background and looking to step into a meaningful role within education?
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in the Chorley area. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in care or support roles who are confident and willing to assist with personal care where needed.
Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assisting children with a range of additional and complex needs within the classroom
* Providing personal care support when required
* Promoting independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
* Working alongside teachers and school staff to support learning and development
Working Pattern:
* Monday to Friday
* 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Term time only
* £106 per day
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in care, support work, or a similar background
* Experience (professional or personal) supporting individuals with additional needs is beneficial
* Confidence in carrying out personal care duties
* A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
* A genuine desire to support children's development and wellbeing
