Spencer Clarke Group are looking for an experienced SEN Leader to take up an interim contract as an SEND Service Manager for a Local Authority based in London.
As a SEND Service Manager, you will be passionate and driven to meet the challenges of SEND but combine this with sensitivity, confidence and resilience. You will be expected to support the Head of Service to deliver key priorities and work collaboratively with schools and key partners in and out of Tower Hamlets to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities.
Pay Scale – Starting from £400 per day – Negotiable depending on experience.
Location – Hybrid working approach – 80% remote with occasional office visits. ( A few times per month)
Contract Length – 3 month rolling contract highly likely to be until March 2022 with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
About the Role:
To ensure the performance of the SEND teams meets statutory requirements and performance targets,including the quality of EHCPs and Annual Reviews, developing, promoting and ensuring rigorous quality assurance processes.
You will take responsibility for liaising closely with parents, schools and other professionals in order to manage the complex process of carrying out EHC assessments of children and young people from birth to 25 years and to co-produce EHC Plans with families, keeping the child/young person at the centre of a person-centred approach and having regard to the voice of the child/young person and the aspirations of the family at all times
