Interim Principal Estates Surveyor
Location: North West
Rate: £450 per day
Working Pattern: Hybrid, minimum 1 day per week on site
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a North West local authority to appoint an Interim Principal Estates Surveyor on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a broad estates role supporting a senior estates lead across a varied caseload including valuations, disposals, landlord and tenant work, and wider estate management activity. You will also support the management of business centre assets and advise across a diverse property portfolio.
Responsibilities include
- Undertaking valuations across a range of property types
- Managing land and property disposals
- Handling landlord and tenant matters
- Supporting acquisitions, including matters involving compulsory purchase
- Assisting with general estate management activity
- Supporting regeneration and redevelopment-related property work
- Working with colleagues across the wider property function
- Producing clear reports and recommendations for stakeholders
About You
- MRICS or FRICS, or able to demonstrate equivalent estates-level capability
- Strong estates management background
- Experience covering valuations, disposals and landlord & tenant matters
- Knowledge of acquisitions and ideally CPO-related work
- Experience operating in a local authority
- Strong report writing and stakeholder management skills
