Independent domestic abuse advisor role - South East England

£19.32 per hour PAYE

Temporary position - 3-6 month initial contract

Full time 37 hours per week

Office based

We are seeking a Independent domestic abuse advisor to support our local authority client in the South East of England within the adults, housing and communities team.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, including those assessed as high risk.
• Experience within Children's Services, Adult Safeguarding, MASH, or Family Support Services

Duties include:

• Provide specialist advocacy and support to victims of domestic abuse identified through HRDA process.
• Manage domestic abuse referrals to prioritise high risk cases as well as maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth follow up actions based on multi-agency discussions.
• Monitor risks and evaluate outcomes that will benefit and support domestic abuse victims and survivors
