Are you a compassionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Nurture Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming educational setting in North Tyneside to start full-time in September.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who require additional emotional, social, and academic support to help them engage successfully with learning.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching approaches to maximise outcomes
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience working with pupils with additional needs, SEMH, SEND, or within a nurture provision
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people to achieve their potential
