Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Income Officer for a Local Authority Client in West London.

In this role, you will ensure Council income is accurately processed, controlled, and allocated while delivering an efficient, customer-focused Income Management service.

Duties:

  • Process and allocate Council income accurately, maintaining clear audit trails.
  • Monitor and resolve unallocated, underpaid, and overpaid income.
  • Manage income-related queries and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support strong financial controls, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working in an income, finance, or accounting role.
  • Knowledge of income management processes and financial systems.
  • Ability to analyse financial data with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering a customer-focused service and resolving queries efficiently.

What's on offer:

Salary: £21ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
