My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Cyber Security Analyst on a Contract basis.
This is a hands-on operational role requiring an individual who can confidently identify and respond to cyber threats, engage with stakeholders across the organisation and drive actions through to completion.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £400 a day Inside IR35
*negotiable based on experience

About the role:
Based in Greater London (Hybrid):
- Proactively identify, investigate and respond to cyber security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation where required
- Conduct threat detection, log analysis and security event correlation across enterprise systems and platforms
- Support the development, implementation and execution of incident response processes, procedures and playbooks
- Work collaboratively across Digital Services and business areas to identify opportunities to improve cyber security practices
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, with Microsoft Sentinel experience highly desirable
- Strong understanding of log analysis, threat hunting and security event correlation across enterprise environments
- Local Authority experience is essential
