SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator - Greater London

£290 per day

3-6 month initial contract

Hybrid working - 1-2 days onsite per week

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator to support our local authority client in Greater London by managing a caseload of statutory SEND processes including EHC needs assessments, annual reviews and post-16 transitions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working within Local Authority SEND in the past 2 years
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, including The Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015 and SEND Regulations 2014
  • Excellent written skills to produce high quality EHCP's

Duties include:

  • Coordinate EHC needs assessments and annual reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and timescales
  • Support Post-16 transitions and provide positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Draft, review and maintain high quality EHCP's working closely with families, schools and other professionals
