£400 per day
3-6 month initial contract

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced Senior SEND Tribunal Officer to support a local authority client in the South East of England, taking responsibility for complex casework involving children and young people and leading on the preparation and management of Tribunal cases.
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience working within Local Authority SEND
- Experience of representing councils at Tribunal hearings and managing complex casework
- Strong knowledge of up to date SEND legislation including the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015
Duties include:
- Represent the council at SEND Tribunals and present case evidence clearly and professionally
- Lead on the coordination and preparation of complex tribunals from the initial report through to resolution
- Support mediation and dispute resolution processes between families, schools and professionals to help reach outcomes in a timely and effective manner
