My client in Cheshire is looking to appoint a talented Solution Architect on a Contract basis.
This role will be responsible for identifying solutions and manage the design and implementation to support the transition to Windows 11.
About the role:
Based in Cheshire (Hybrid / Remote):
- Lead and manage the evaluation, identification, development, and delivery of solutions to improve and digitalise ICT services
- Analyse systems and enhance procedures, reviewing and updating documentation standards and templates.
- Review and update the transition of projects into the ICT Services team for BAU (Windows 11 rollout).
- Represent the Council externally in meetings, seminars, user groups etc, taking a lead role in the development and delivery of new ICT products and services (Windows 11).
About you:
You will have the following skillsets or experiences:
- Extensive experience in a similar role.
- Relevant professional qualifications (TOGAF, CITP, BCS, etc) or qualified by experience.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of major trends and themes in technology, specifically in local government and public services.
- Sound knowledge of relevant IT Management Standards and approaches including, but not limited to, ITIL, TOGAF, DevOps
What’s on offer:
- Salary: £600-£687 per day, Inside IR35
