Qualified Early Years Practitioner

Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Qualified Early Years Practitioner to work within the NHS in Central London!

Contract – 3 - 6 months initial contract with the view to being extended to an ongoing basis

Salary - £25.00 – 30.00 per hour – negotiable dependent on experience

About the role:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Create a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children feel valued, respected, and supported.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met and their interests are incorporated into the curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices at all times.
• Establish positive relationships with children and their families, communicating effectively and providing feedback on their child's progress.

About You:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
