1:1 SEND Tutor (Out-of-School Learners)

Location: Stevenage, Watford & St Albans (Hertfordshire)
Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Pay: £30-£35 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced 1:1 tutors to support learners across the Hertfordshire area. This role involves providing personalised tuition to children and young people who are out of school due to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Many of the learners you will support have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), so strong SEND experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualised tuition in line with learner needs
• Support learners with a range of SEND, promoting engagement and progress
• Plan and adapt sessions to meet EHCP outcomes
• Build positive, supportive relationships with learners and families

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting learners with EHCPs
• Ability to deliver 1:1 tuition confidently and adaptively
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
• Reliable, professional, and committed to safeguarding
