Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable - Interim
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a South West London Borough to appoint a Finance Officer within their Adult Social Care Collections Team.
This role will support the monitoring and management of Adult Social Care service user accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are followed up and payments are received in a timely and sensitive manner.

The Role
Monitor and manage Adult Social Care service user accounts
Chase outstanding balances by phone, email and letter
Support income collection and debt recovery activity
Liaise with service users, families, representatives and internal teams
Set up and monitor payment arrangements
Support account queries, write-offs and escalation for further recovery action
About You
Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Income Collection or Debt Recovery
Local Authority or public sector experience would be beneficial
Adult Social Care finance / collections experience would be highly desirable
Able to manage workload and prioritise arrears effectively
Experience using Agresso / Unit4 or similar finance systems would be useful
