The opportunity: Bookkeeper, based in Leyland.

This is a well-rounded role to help SME's with their Bookkeeping needs.

The role:

The key responsibilities of this Bookkeeping role are:

• Reviewing and completing VAT returns – partial exemption knowledge good but not essential
• General bookkeeping i.e bank/credit card recociliation’s
• Inputting sales and purchase invoices onto software
• Unravelling bank reconciliations that don’t balance
• Submitting confirmation statements to companies house

The Successful Applicant:

• Sufficient experience in a practice environment
• Expert knowledge and skills in bookkeeping and reconciliation
• Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
• Ambitious and persistent, self-motivated and able to work to targets
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional customer service
• Knowledge ideally of accounting systems such as Sage, Iris, QuickBooks, Xero and FreeAgent
