We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, care workers, nursery practitioners, or anyone with transferable experience supporting children and young people.

The Role
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom and help pupils achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment while gaining valuable experience within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils within the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis
  • Assist teachers with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
  • Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials
  • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and participation
  • Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs where required
  • Promote positive behaviour and classroom routines
  • Supervise pupils during activities and throughout the school day
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

The Ideal Candidate

  • A genuine interest in working with children and young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential
  • Graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, care workers, and nursery practitioners are encouraged to apply
  • A willingness to learn and develop within an educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
