We are working with a range of secondary schools in Lancaster and the surrounding areas who are seeking Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join them on a short-term, long-term, and day-to-day supply basis.
The Role
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils
- Help manage classroom behaviour and keep students on task
- Provide additional support to students with varying learning needs, including SEND
- Assist with general classroom duties and preparation
You don't need formal qualifications - just the right attitude!

- Are confident, proactive, and reliable
- Have transferable experience (e.g. coaching, youth work, tutoring, care work, customer-facing roles)
- Are considering a future career in teaching or education
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
