About the Role
Spencer Clarke Group are working closely with a range of secondary schools across Preston to recruit Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for September starts across all subject specialisms.
These opportunities offer both long-term and temp-to-perm positions, providing a strong platform to begin or continue your teaching career. You will have the chance to gain valuable classroom experience while exploring different school environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in your subject specialism
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with departments and senior staff


What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS by September
  • A strong subject knowledge in your chosen specialism
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
