About the Role
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking Teaching Assistants to support mainstream secondary schools across Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build experience in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning in the classroom
- Work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Assist with behaviour management
- Help prepare lesson materials
- Support students with additional needs
- Follow safeguarding policies
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A patient and proactive approach
- Relevant qualifications (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
