About the Role
Spencer Clarke Group is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support mainstream secondary schools across Bolton. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience or further their career in education.
You will support students and teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged.
Key Responsibilities
- Support classroom teaching and learning activities
- Work with individuals or small groups of students
- Assist with behaviour management
- Prepare classroom resources and materials
- Provide additional support to students where needed
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication skills
- A positive and adaptable attitude
- Relevant qualifications (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
