Role Overview:
As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite a love for literature and language in secondary school students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
