Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Supported Housing and Temporary Accommodation Officer for a Local Authority Client based in West London.
As the Supported Housing and Temporary Accommodation Officer, you will provide comprehensive housing management services to the Supported Housing and Temporary Accommodation portfolio. Working within defined policies and procedures, you will collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure the needs of residents are met effectively.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
- Provide effective housing management services to supported housing and temporary accommodation clients.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure timely rectification of any defects.
- Address issues such as anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes in accordance with established policies.
- Collaborate with care providers, adult social care, and housing needs teams to ensure clients can access necessary services and support.
- Work with homelessness prevention officers to support clients in transitioning to permanent accommodation.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Knowledge of housing legislation, particularly Landlord and Tenant law, supported housing, and homelessness legislation.
- Previous experience in supported housing or a housing-related support environment is desired.
- Experience working for a local authority in a similar role.
What’s on offer
Salary: £19+ per hour
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week
