Service Director – Childrens/SEND Commissioning – Local Authority - Dorset
3 month initial contract – Likely to be extended
Rate of pay: £700+ per day – negotiable depending on experience
Hybrid Working – Flexible working to be discussed
What we need from you:
- Lead commissioning of the overall portfolio of services available for key cohorts of children particular Children with EHCPs, Children Looked After, Children in Need and Children subject to a Child Protection Plan using qualitative and quantitative information and lessons learned to drive overall effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead the Service’s engagement across the health and education sectors, linking and aligning with colleagues who also play a role in this work, ensuring congruence and coherence across the partnership system.
Must Have:
- Significant experience within SEND/Childrens Commissioning is essential.
- Local Authority experience is also essential.
