Senior SEND Project Manager

£600 per day (inside IR35)

6 month contract, likely to be extended

Midlands - Hybrid working - 2 days per week in office

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Project Manager to lead projects aimed at reducing demand for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and High Needs Funding by ensuring the needs of children and young people with SEND are identified and met at the earliest opportunity.

The SEND Project Manager will lead on projects identified within the Children's Services Education DSG Recovery Plan for our local authority client in the Midlands.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with local authorities and SEND.
  • Strong knowledge of Children's services Transformation programme.
  • Significant project management experience and qualification.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Successfully deliver service improvement projects that reduce costs and improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and monitor KPI's, prepare project initiation documents and produce monthly progress reports.

Skills required:

  • Demonstrate change management skills to drive continuous improvement.
  • Able to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Skilled in analysing complex data to drive evidence-based decision-making.
