Contract: 6 Months
Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for an Interim Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile leisure / mixed-use residential scheme, alongside other corporate capital projects.
This is a hands-on capital delivery role, suited to someone who can run projects end-to-end, manage multiple stakeholders, and keep programme, risk and governance tight in a local authority environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading delivery of a leisure / mixed-use residential project through to completion and handover
- Managing programme, budget, governance reporting, risks and issues across a portfolio of capital schemes
- Leading internal and external stakeholder engagement, including senior officer-facing updates
- Managing professional teams, consultants and contractors to deliver to time, cost and quality
- Driving contract administration and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
About You:
- Proven track record delivering capital construction projects, ideally within local government
- Strong stakeholder management and governance reporting experience
- Comfortable coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and third-party suppliers
- Able to manage risk, change control, programme and delivery pressures in a live environment
- Contract and procurement awareness
