Senior HR Business Partner **

We're working in partnership with a local authority in the Hackney area, who are searching for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to work within the Education / Schools Department.

Contract: Initially 4-6 months, with potential for a permanent role.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Location: E8. (Hybrid working will be available)

Pay Rate: Starting from £32+ per hour (Negotiable based on experience).

About The Role:

• You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the business objectives of your designated service(s) within Hackney Education Department and Schools that will contribute to the achievement of the Mayor’s priorities and Council’s corporate objectives.
• Provide effective management that will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Hackney Education Department, including schools.
• Work in partnership with key decision makers within the Hackney Education Department and schools, providing high quality advice and support to ensure effective people management and contributes to raising the standards of organisational change.
• Actively contribute to Council-wide and Hackney Education initiatives that will achieve and implement the Mayor’s priorities and corporate objectives focusing on Education Services.
• Be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the application of HR policies and making recommendations for change, and contributing to the implementation.
• Be the link strategic adviser between Assistant Directors / heads of service and HR and OD.

Experience Needed:

• Local Authority / Public Sector background.
• HR Management.
• HR Implications of Organisational Change.

Qualification Needed:

• CIPD qualified or equivalent.
