SEND Data Officer

£400 per day

3 month initial contract, likely to be extended

Hybrid - 1 day per week in office - North London

On behalf of our local authority client in North London, Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Data Officer who will be responsible for the accuracy and secure storage of data collected by the SEN Service.

The SEND Data Officer will be required to create and maintain a SEND Local Area dashboard to monitor, track, and report on the effectiveness of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) services across the local authority.

Essential Requirements:

  • Local Authority experience and an in-depth knowledge of SEND legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
  • Strong experience in data management and analysis, ideally within SEND.
  • Proven ability to extract, interpret, and present data clearly to all stakeholders.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Maintain and manage SEND data systems, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with local and national requirements.
  • Identify areas for service improvement, producing clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations.
  • Provide SEN Service training for all staff relating to the functionality of the case management system.

Skills required:

  • Analytical skills with the ability to effectively handle complex data.
  • Ability to use performance monitoring and reporting tools to extract, analyse, and present key service outcomes and performance data.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines under pressure.
