SEND Assessment Officer 0-25 - East London
£282 per day
3-6 month initial contract
Hybrid working - 1 day in the office per week (Would consider fully remote)
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Assessment Officer to work with our local authority client in the East of London to coordinate EHC Assessments, Annual reviews and EHC plan processes for children and young people ages 0-25.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have a background working within Local Authority SEND
- Strong knowledge of up to date SEND legislation including the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with children and families
Duties include:
- Coordinate and manage caseloads of SEND assessments and reviews in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and reports of statutory documents that support the draft and amendment of EHC plans.
- Work with multi-agency partners to help provide the best outcomes for children and families with SEND needs.
