SEN Projects Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a SEN Projects Officer to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of strategic projects relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a North London local authority.
The SEN Projects Officer will play a key part within the statutory SEN Team, contributing to service delivery improvement and delivering better outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in providing support to the SEN Service on key projects within a local authority setting.
- Strong working knowledge of SEND policy, including changes to government legislation.
- Experience in analysing and interpreting data to inform project planning and improve service delivery.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Work directly with children and young people with SEND and their families to support the development of co-produced practice standards.
- Act as first responder for any Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.
- Drive continuous improvement and the implementation of automation and efficient ways of working.
Skills required:
- Strong judgement and analytical skills leading to effective service delivery.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Skilled in written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
