School Catering Assistant - Chester (CH3) - Immediate Start Available
We are currently recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work within a school in the Chester CH3 area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and supporting the preparation and serving of meals to students.
Role Details:
- Location: Chester, CH3
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 1:30pm
- Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation and serving meals
- Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen and dining areas
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Supporting the kitchen team during lunchtime service
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but not essential
- Food hygiene certificate desirable
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable
- Candidates must be able to drive due to the location of the school
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
