Post 16 Case Officer - North West
We are working with a Local Authority in the North West who are seeking an experienced Post 16 Case Officer to join their SEND team.
Location: North West (remote/hybrid options available)
Rate: £320 per day
Hours: Full-time
Contract: 3-6 months
Role Overview:
This role involves managing a caseload of Post 16 EHCP cases, ensuring statutory processes are completed in line with the SEND Code of Practice. You will support Preparing for Adulthood pathways, coordinate multi-agency working, and ensure young people receive appropriate education, training, or employment outcomes.
You will be responsible for statutory reviews, transition planning, and maintaining accurate case records while working closely with families, education settings, and partner agencies.
Key Requirements:
- Experience managing EHCP caseloads within SEND or education settings
- Strong understanding of statutory processes and the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience working with Post 16 / Preparing for Adulthood cases (desirable)
- Strong communication, organisation, and case management skills
- Experience working in a multi-agency environment
