We are currently supporting a respected client in Ormskirk to recruit a highly organised and professional Executive Support Officer. This is a fast paced role providing high level administrative and executive support to senior leaders across the organisation.


As an Executive Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of services and supporting Directors, Assistant Directors and Chief Officers. You'll manage competing priorities, handle sensitive information, and act as a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive support by delivering high quality, confidential administrative assistance to Directors, Assistant Directors and Chief Officers.
  • Act as the first point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, senior managers, Elected Members and external organisations to support smooth service delivery.
  • Coordinate meetings and events by organising schedules, preparing agendas and producing supporting documentation.
  • Manage correspondence by processing, tracking and monitoring incoming mail to ensure timely responses.
  • Maintain excellent customer care by consistently demonstrating professionalism and a high standard of service.


Key Requirements:

  • Administrative experience in a busy, fast?paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Confident, professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationship
  • Resilient, adaptable, and positive approach to work
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding of confidentiality and political sensitivity


Contract Length: 3 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract (potential perm opportunity available).
Pay Rate: £15.23 per hour
Working pattern - 37 hours per week.
