We are looking for an experienced Resource Manager (Registered Nurse) to lead a well-established Dementia Nursing Home providing residential and nursing care for older adults. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate nurse leader to take overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and person-centred delivery of services within a specialist care setting.


As the Registered Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for residents. You will lead and support multidisciplinary teams while working closely with healthcare professionals and wider partners to deliver integrated care services.


Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the Registered Manager and clinical lead for the service.
  • Ensure residents receive high-quality nursing and dementia care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop nursing and care teams through effective management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Monitor staffing, performance, quality standards, and service outcomes.
  • Manage care delivery in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • Develop strong working relationships with GPs, healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.
  • Support service improvement initiatives and implement quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure safe management of resources, staffing, and operational budgets where required.
  • Promote a positive culture focused on continuous improvement and exceptional resident care.


Key Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) with an active PIN.
  • Previous experience in a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or senior leadership role within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of dementia care, elderly care, and nursing home regulations.
  • Good understanding of CQC standards and quality frameworks.
  • Proven people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to drive service improvement and maintain high standards of care.


Contract Type: 3-6 months with view of an extension
Pay Rate: PAYE: £29.16 per hour
Working pattern - 35 hours per week, onsite (Rota Basis)
