Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Homelessness & Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in Worcestershire.
In this role, you will manage homelessness cases, assess statutory duties, and deliver prevention and housing solutions in line with housing legislation.
Duties:
- Manage a caseload of homelessness and housing applications.
- Assess statutory duties and make legally compliant homelessness decisions.
- Develop personalised housing plans to prevent and relieve homelessness.
- Work with landlords and partner agencies to secure sustainable housing solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Homelessness & Housing Solutions.
- Strong knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
- Proven experience applying Part VII of the Housing Act 1996.
- Experience managing prevention, relief and statutory homelessness casework.
What's on offer:
Salary: £22ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
