Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in Southwest London.
In this role, you will work with residents facing homelessness or housing difficulties, providing advice, developing solutions and helping households secure safe, sustainable accommodation.
Duties:
- Manage homelessness cases, assessments and housing plans in line with legislation.
- Provide advice and practical support to prevent and relieve homelessness.
- Work with partners, landlords and agencies to secure suitable accommodation.
- Support vulnerable households through effective problem-solving, safeguarding and tenancy sustainment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
- Experience managing complex cases and delivering housing advice.
- Experience working with partner agencies, landlords and support services.
- Experience prioritising workloads and achieving service targets.
What's on offer:
Salary: £20ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
