Principal Parking Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella)
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Contract: 3 - months ongoing
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority to appoint an Interim Principal Parking Engineer to support a busy parking programme.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for leading a small team and driving delivery across a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) rollout programme and a range of minor parking schemes.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead delivery of CPZ rollouts and associated parking scheme workstreams
- Oversee a small team, allocating workload and ensuring outputs land on time
- Manage parking design and scheme development, from concept through to implementation support
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and ensure effective programme reporting and grip on actions
About you:
- Extensive experience in parking design and parking management, ideally in a local authority setting
- Strong understanding of CPZ delivery and parking scheme development
- Confident team lead, able to prioritise, delegate and maintain momentum across competing deadlines
- Comfortable with hybrid working and being on-site
