A NHS Trust we are currently working with are seeking a Patient Transportation Driver to support the team. You'll be responsible for driving around the local area (Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead and Gerrards Cross) bringing patients to and from dialysis centre and their homes.
Location: You'll be required to travel across Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead and Gerrards Cross.
Rate of pay: £13.40p/h Umbrella
Working Hours: Shifts between Mon-Sat, 06.30-19.30 or 11.00-00.00
Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting patients in and out of their homes/dialysis centre
- Vehicle checks, these are to ensure the patient transport Vehicle is in order prior to taking them out at the start of the shift.
- Taking bloods and other goods to and from Windsor dialysis unit
- Reporting any incidents or maintenance issues
- Each patient collection run would be for up to 4/5 patients per journey and each shift can be doing this 3 times with bringing them to hospital and taking home.
Requirements:
- Full clean driving license - D1 category
- Previous experience of vocational driving with evidence of driving similar vehicles
