Are you an experienced Children's Occupational Therapist with a passion for making a meaningful impact? We are on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team within the Children and Young Person's Disability Service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Moving and Handling Assessment and Advice: Provide expert guidance and necessary equipment to address specific needs in the home environment.
• Equipment Provision: Assess and recommend specialist equipment to enhance daily activities for children and their families.
• Minor Adaptations: Evaluate requirements for door widening, grabrails, ramps, and safety measures to improve accessibility.
• Home Adaptations: Assess potential needs for adaptations through national Disabled Facility Grant, ensuring a comfortable living environment.
• Housing Needs Assessments: Conduct assessments supporting social housing applications, identifying specific access needs for consideration during rehousing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Children's Occupational Therapy and social care.
• Expertise in providing services to children with neuromuscular, neurodegenerative, or genetic conditions.
• Ability to collaborate with Social Workers, Family Support Workers, and other multidisciplinary teams.
