Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)

Position Overview: As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in French to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, as well as Spanish to Key Stage 3 students. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about languages and has a strong understanding of language acquisition principles. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students, helping them develop their language proficiency and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in French to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, and Spanish to Key Stage 3 students.
- Provide support and guidance to students as they develop their language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages cultural exploration and cross-cultural understanding.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required.
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in language teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting language learning and cultural exchange.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
